Our HDBC Bird Expo Committee met on June 29th. Despite everyone’s hard work, time, and energy, our Bird Expo 2011 is just not coming together as well as we need it to be. We too are not immune to current economic conditions. A decision was made to cancel this year’s HDBC Bird Expo.

We look forward to next year being better for all of us. A heartfelt Thank You to everyone that helped try to bring our 2011 Bird Expo together. We anticipate hosting a HDBC Bird Expo 2012. What we learned this year will help make next year’s expo even bigger and better.

For Bird Star fans don’t fret. We will host another rousing rendition of Bird Star talent contest for birds during our December monthly meeting. Stay tuned for details as we get closer to December.
